lesson plans

Science: 2nd grade
For a lesson about the planets, have the students go on a virtual field trip through space to see what each planet looks like and where they are located in our solar system. They could also see different constellations and start to be able to identify them.

Social Studies: 3rd-4th grade
For an interactive social studies lesson, have the students become familiar with geography by using interactive whiteboard. Students could use this board to identify all the fifty states. This could be a great way to let the students interact in this instead of just memorizing them. Have the students work as a class to identify all the fifty states and then begin learning the capitols.

Math:4th grade
For an interactive math lesson plan, have students use interactive white board again, but this time learning the different classifications of triangles. Have a triangle on the board that will stretch or shrink with a dragging arrow. Allow the students to make obtuse angles, acute angles, and different types of triangles such as scalene, equilateral, right, acute, and Isosceles. After the students have classified these, have them use tablets to email you their answers by drawing them in a microsoft drawing program on the computer.
